Privacy & UK GDPR

The pen name is a mystery.
How we treat your data is not.

1. Who We Are (Data Controller)

spangomoletsi.com is the official author website for the books of Spango Moletsi, published in the United Kingdom. For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, the Literary Office of Spango Moletsi acts as the Data Controller for the Chapel of Rest Reader List.

2. What Personal Data We Collect and Lawful Basis

3. Cookie Policy (Why There Is No Cookie Banner)

Under UK PECR Regulation 6, websites must show a consent banner only if they store or read non-essential cookies, analytics identifiers, or advertising trackers on your device.

spangomoletsi.com sets zero cookies on your browser (`Set-Cookie` headers are absent across all pages), uses no `localStorage` tracking, and loads no third-party analytics or social-media pixels. Typography is served via standard stylesheet links from Google Fonts, which do not set cookies. Because there are no non-essential cookies to consent to, no banner is required.

4. Data Storage, Security & Retention

Reader List email addresses are stored encrypted at rest in an isolated Cloudflare Workers KV store (`spango-newsletter`) operated by Cloudflare, Inc. under UK International Data Transfer Addendum safeguards. We never sell, rent, share, or trade subscriber addresses with any third party. Your email is retained until you withdraw consent (unsubscribe) or until the Reader List is retired.

5. Amazon Links

Links to purchase Kindle or paperback editions direct you to Amazon.co.uk. Once you leave spangomoletsi.com, Amazon acts as an independent Data Controller under its own privacy and cookie policies. We never see your name, postal address, or payment details when you buy a book on Amazon.

6. Your UK GDPR Rights & Instant One-Click Erasure

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

Because we collect only your email address, you can exercise your Right to Erasure (Article 17 UK GDPR) and withdraw consent immediately below, or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any newsletter we send:

Instant Reader List Removal (Erasure)

Immediate KV Deletion

Enter your email address below to permanently delete your record from the Chapel of Rest Reader List immediately:
